In the fall, a lot of the birds here move south to avoid the cold winter. When we see the birds migrating
south, it’s a sign that the long, cold, dark winter is on its way. It’s so much more quiet here during winter;
there aren’t that many birds around. That’s why the return of the birds in the spring means so much to us;
it’s a symbol of light, a promise of longer, warmer and brighter days.
